Manages, oversees and coordinates all facets of the construction phase including mobilization, construction, and closeout.  Will interact with customers, coordinate and manage In-House Crews and Sub-Contractors on a daily basis and/or project basis during the installation of cable in medium to large residential/commercial construction projects. Interface with internal office staff on a daily basis to ensure that all paperwork is completed to meet project deadlines and to review communications received at the site.   


  • Direct outside construction of broad band systems, and network infrastructure including telephone lines, copper, coaxial cable, and fiber optics.
  • Provide daily project updates and statuses to customers.
  • Coordinate and manage In-House Crews and Sub-Contractors on a daily basis and/or project basis
  • Manage internal paper work flow, documentation for customer and internal flow of revenue,      expense and margin data.
  • Perform material management and delivery scheduling tasks.                           
  • Plans, organizes, directs and reports project management activities and progress to upper management
  • Coordinates with all pertinent public agencies during construction to comply with all off-site work
  • Manages both the project budget and schedule to meet the qualitative standards
  • Performs day-to-day contract administration including assisting the Senior Executives in bid analysis, pre-construction meetings and related award coordinating activities
  • Reviews contractors’ initial construction schedule, submittals, schedule of values, and responds to contractor inquiries
  • Manages and coordinates project team, administrative staff, and contractors in communicating directives and ensuring the project scope is completed according to plans, specifications, and cost limits
  • Reviews substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specification requirements are met
  • Negotiates with contractors to achieve a fair and reasonable cost for change orders and reviews their impact on the project
  • Performs related duties as assigned




High School (required); Vocational /Technical School (preferred)



5-10 years’ experience in the field for broadband distribution and infrastructure (required).

Project management hands-on experience (required)

Revenue expense management (preferred)




RCDD outside plant (preferred)

PMP (preferred)


Additional Skills/Knowledge:


Microsoft Office Suite


  • Occasional lifting of 75-100 lbs., walking, standing – outdoors, construction site
  • Administrative tasks – office environment
  • Local Travel up to 100%
